Smackdown is a quick overview of a specific app, website, or a social media tool that can be utilized in college or in future profession. Apps are extremely important and useful for everyone. The app that I have chosen for my smackdown is 3D Anatomy Learning. 3D Anatomy Learning is an educational medical app that helps students better understand human anatomy and physiology. It has an interactive 3D touch interface with an easy navigation. It is a great app for any student who is interested in medical field.

3D Anatomy Learning is a true 3D app for studying human anatomy. It is very easy to navigate and explore the human body due to its' advanced interactive 3D touch interface. You can switch on and off different anatomy systems. This app includes the both male and female reproductive systems. The most important feature this app has are the 3D location quizzes to test one's knowledge. It also has an audio pronunciation for all names of the human bones. It is avaliable in four different languages which can be helpful for non-speaking English students.

Many medical students find this app extremely useful in their profession. Since my future profession is to become a physician assistant, I could use this app to better understand human anatomy and learning. As a physician assistant, it is extremely important for me to know different parts of the human body and their functions. Its' interactive 3D touch interface helps me explore the human body in better ways. This project "smackdown" was a great way for me to find apps that I can utilize in my college career or in my future profession.

I can't tell you how much I love this app! I used it in both my anatomy courses here at Stockton and it helped immensely both times! It allows for such an interactive platform I am so glad other people know about this! Have you ever heard of a similar app called Complete Anatomy? It is definitely worth looking into:) Do you think that this app would be useful for someone who has been in the medical field for a long time or more for students who are just learning the basics?
ReplyDelete3D Anatomy sounds like a great app! I like how you can move around so fluidly and learn more about the 3D model that they give you. I was considering taking an anatomy class as an elective this semester but that did not work out so I may just download this app to find out more!
ReplyDeleteThis application could be extremely helpful for students trying to understand human anatomy. In high school I had to take an anatomy class and this would have been a great tool to help memorize certain muscles. Visually seeing the muscles in 3D could help with memorization.
ReplyDeleteKajal, I am really happy that you chose this app. I took anatomy last year and I used this app to study, specifically for the practical lab exams, and I found it to be very helpful. I am taking anatomy again this summer at a higher level and I hope the app is able to help me again as much as it did last year.
ReplyDeleteHello Kajal! This application is definitely useful for anyone studying health or anatomy. It's really incredible that they made an application like this that can help people to learn about the human body in so much depth. It is definitely a great tool for people to use even if they are not studying anatomy and maybe just want to learn more on their own.
ReplyDeleteHello Kajal, thank you for introducing this app! Although the app seems not useful in the Organizational Psychology field, it helps in the medical field. I think this app would be better than the physical human torso model in learning anatomy. The app is convenient and able to get the insight of the human body from different angles of the digital torso model. I believe the quizzes from this app is the best last minutes study for students which is good to increase their visual memories.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this app before now, but this was great to learn about because I already recommended it to one of my friends! They are currently taking an Anatomy & Physiology class and they were having difficulty remembering the skeletal system. Aside from that, this presentation was great because it really showed how easy it is to use this app, as well as how helpful it can be.
ReplyDeleteHello, Kajal! I wish there were apps like this available when I took A&P classes in high school and college! (Actually, we didn't even know what apps were back then....I'm kind of old.) This would have made things easier! The text I used (and still have today) has photos of cadavers. I learned the bones and muscles of the body by writing on a very uncomfortable boyfriend's skin with a marker! What were the four languages available?
ReplyDeleteHi Kajal, I thought 3D anatomy learning was such an interesting app. As a medical major, this interactive app can be helpful for me to double check my knowledge or to check information that I was unsure of. I love the way it is divided and organized through different parts, such as skeletal, muscles, and organs. I will definitely be checking out this app, as I feel it is helpful to any person in the medical field.
ReplyDeleteThis app seems awesome for someone who is interested in learning the anatomy of a human body or studying in the medical field. This app is one of the best usage of visual learning apps I have seen. I am blown away by how in depth and professional this app is. I think we need more interactive learning apps like this for all majors!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to recommend this app to people in the medical field and might even give it a try myself. Learning about the human body is so important for everybody and obviously for people in the medical field.
ReplyDeleteI actually have used this app at my job before just for fun and it does definitely become super useful. I have found that this is a could took for studying for anatomy and physiology along with reading the textbook. Do you think that students outside of the medical professions could get any benefit out of this app?
ReplyDeleteKajal,
ReplyDeleteI think the app you chose is awesome! Although I personally may never use it, I think the 3D Anatomy app can be very useful for all Science majors and will help anyone when studying for anatomy especially! Awesome choice and presentation!
I’m not studying any area of the medical profession, but I am interested in human anatomy. We are truly amazing creatures. This app is very interesting and provides that 3D perspective to completely have a better understanding of the makings of our bodies. Thank you for the presentation!
ReplyDeleteHi Kajal! I agree that 3D Anatomy is a great studying tool for students studying human anatomy. I like that this app allows users to explore the human body in 3D. Studying from a textbook only offers what is on the page, this application allows the user to be interactive. I believe that studying this way will lead to better results on assignments and tests and is a better way to get to know the human body. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Kajal, I had never heard of this app before. It appears to be very useful to medical students and also looks very easy to use. I am sure it will help you in your future endeavors along with many other medical students.
ReplyDeleteHi Kajal!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen this app, but I wish I knew about this before my anatomy class my senior year of high school! This app is perfect for the medical field, and I think it will be a great way for you to study the body, and important things that are 3D!
This is a very cool app! I can see how it could be useful for anyone whose work or studies involve the body. Great post!
ReplyDeleteHello Kajal,
ReplyDeleteI'm excited that you shared this app related to my future profession. I will be taking a Human Anatomy and Physiology course here at Stockton. I will definitely be needing 3D Anatomy Learning to ace difficult topics and fully understand the material that is taught. It's pretty neat how the app gives a 3D interface to study more efficiently. Wishing you the best of luck in the medical field and thanks for sharing this!
